Glinda raised an eyebrow, feeling something around her in the park. This was different, though. It was magical, but it was also something else she couldn't put her finger on. She looked around, questioningly, especially seeing the angry duck. Although, in her defence, it usually was angry.

The Trickster shot Glinda a wink and gave her a florid bow. "A beautiful night, is it not?"

"It is indeed." She said, with a smile, before rising, "Glinda Upland-Thropp." She said, by way of introduction.

"Please call me Trickster, Glinda." He gave her another bow with a wide grin.

If you go out in the park today you're sure of a big surprise...

If fact if Loki continues at his current pace, he's going to walk straight into the real Trickster, who is certainly not very impressed, if the expression on his face didn't already tell you that.

"My my, what a handsome devil you are." He says flatly.

"Pretty pathetic too, if you're not willing to admit to your own pranks and what me to take the credit."

The original Trickster, that is, the one who pulled the prank, smiled to the newcomer. "What's the matter? Jealous you didn't think of it first, Loki?"

With a snap of his fingers, the confrontational Trickster was revealed as Loki.

He rolls his eyes. He knew it was the lank haired creep without the parlor tricks.

"So jealous." He drawls, in a voice that makes it very clear he isn't. "It must be nice not to have the balls to pull off your own stunts. What did you threaten the blue girl with, huh?"

He knows about that too, although only in general terms. He's not even all that interested in the details.

The Trickster considered Loki for a moment.

"You know, despite green being a good color under that face, you really get ugly when you're angry. So tell me. What's ..." The Trickster vanished with the sound of fluttering wings (exactly the same sound Castiel made) and reappeared just out of arm's reach to 'Loki's left side. "...ruffling those indignant feathers of yours?"

Annatar was making another orchid. A different kind, smaller, but he wanted one. It wasn't exactly a reminder of Adam and Felecia, because he didn't need an object for that. Just... he had liked that piece and enjoyed its making.

It was fairly obvious that someone had been in his space. No one could get at those jewels from the outside, his raw materials. But something was gone, he could feel it. He never should have left that ruby here--he'd been working on that stone since the blood moon several years ago and it was beginning to have quite a lot of power in it. It was gone.* Distracted, he opened a drawer to get out a tool. He could still work.

*. * @.POOF! *

There was glitter everywhere. No one was around to hear the expletives in Black Speech. The drawer was closed.

Annatar went outside, glitter sparkling off him in the sun.

*He'll be able to trace that ruby (and the other stones) in a little bit of time. Several years back there was a blood moon/ghost moon and he started putting power into that stone. A blood moon is a ( ... )

Ira the duck stood in the center of the otherwise deserted street. Beady little eyes glared at Annatar from less than a foot off the ground. The evil little mallard radiated anger and frustration.

For stuck in one of his nostrils was one of the jewelsmith's lesser gemstones.

"Quack," the duck said, full of malice. He ruffled his feathers and shook his head as if to say, 'I know this is yours, so therefore it's your fault.'

There was no way he could miss the duck, or the stone, not even in his present state of testy.

"I know you didn't open that drawer. The gem is still mine."

He locked eyes on the duck, willing it to be still. It was a creature of the village, being the talking duck, but he thought his power would still work. All he wanted was to take the stone back, pleasing both himself and Ira.

OOC--You can decide if Sauron's freeze gaze (tm) will work on Loki. This is Sauron without his Ring, therefore he doesn't have the power he usually would. And he won't know if this is an Eldar thing or what.

His feathers ruffled then smoothed back down again and ... the duck ... went still. Mostly. Much to his surprise.

He could still ruffle his feathers at Annatar and hiss, and did, but the mallard felt rooted to the spot.
