A new kind of original [So very OTA, gentle tag to canonmates]

Closing up shop around 6:30 in the evening, Klaus slipped the key of Patience and Paints into his pocket right at the time he heard what could only be described as an aerial calamity. The sound's source had definitely been up, and his eyes darted toward the direction of where he'd thought it had been from--the park. Heightened vision engaged, he ( Read more... )

There sounds of growling and then barking dog before a streak of German Shepard headed straight toward the pond and the dinosaur. Quick on its heels though was Allison, running after it, trying to get him to come back.

"Stop. Not a Metal!" The dog, however, didn't care that it wasn't metal, all it cared about was that it was a perceived threat to Allison.

Klaus heard and watched, wondered what a 'metal' was and was taken aback that any dog would run right toward a creature so vastly larger than it.

The woman, presumably the dog's owner, did not seem to approve of what was happening and despite the dinosaur looking very much the herbivore, well...it was still a dinosaur. Klaus generally helped people these days, so he followed after them.

He put himself between the dog and dino, definitely not afraid of what the canine--no matter how protective it was--may do to him. "Not really a place for any of us right now, even dogs, is it?"

Never mind that he didn't seem to be too worried about. Even though the dinosaur could likely crush him too...

Allison breathed a sigh of relief when the man put himself between her dog and the big water lizard. She didn't know what was going on beyond probably something with the village but she would have been devastated to lose her dog.

"Stop!" This time the German Shepard stopped and sat in front of Klaus. It was trained to know metal from human and protect human. Though he might not have been 'human' he really wasn't metal. Allison made it next to her dog, her fingers fisted around the edge of his collar.

"Thanks." She said gratefully to him.

"Not a problem." Klaus gave a little head tilt back toward the stegosaurus. "The beast looks completely captivated by eating all of the greens in the park, so I don't think we have much to worry about."

He smiled between her and the dog. "I know that German Shepherds are brave and protective, but this one seems like they want to take it to a whole new level," Klaus said half-jokingly.
