Closing up shop around 6:30 in the evening, Klaus slipped the key of Patience and Paints into his pocket right at the time he heard what could only be described as an aerial calamity. The sound's source had definitely been up, and his eyes darted toward the direction of where he'd thought it had been from--the park. Heightened vision engaged, he caught a glimpse of what appeared to be...well, a creature he'd only ever seen in books. It looked like some avian dinosaur, that was chasing after several small birds.
He sped toward the park at lightning speed, hoping the creature would still be above by the time he got there. It was, and it was indeed some kind of dinosaur. "What sort of shenanigan is this?" He breathed to himself, witnessing the startling-looking bird snatch up a bird that it dwarfed. Then, he heard a soft grumble-snort sort of sound and the ground around him shook slightly two times. Looking over at the pond, his expression actually turned to one of shock when he saw the stegosaurus. It had one foot submerged in the park's pond while it ate large mouthfuls of grass.
With a long blink, Klaus typed out a couple of messages--quickly--and sent them off, then watched the massive dinosaur. It appeared to be quite calm, but then again, it hadn't seen Klaus yet. One didn't very well run away from such a creature though, right? It felt surreal being the oldest creature for once.
[OOC: Someone in the village may very well be older than Klaus (lol, angels and demons, anyone?), but he's usually pretty self-centered. ^.~]
