He'd made too many errors, he could tell that. The Vulcan was fighting as savagely as Khan was, and proving his statement about 'not being able to break a rule' to have been in error. The shapely Lieutenant beamed down and shouted something about Khan being Kirk's only hope... then nothingness.

Chris is on his way to the marina, when this guy steps into his path unexpectedly from behind a building.

"Sorry, mate, didn't see you coming," he says in his Aussie accent as he stops dead inches from the stranger. He takes a step back to take a better look at the man, trying to place him.

Khan also stepped back from the man. His ice-grey eyes swept over Chris in a moment, assessing him in the glance. Military, he concluded.

"That's alright," he returned in his deep, sonorous voice. He looked around and added, "I seem to be lost and can't place exactly where I am."

"Welcome to the club, mate. Don't think anyone can," Chris replies, pulling a face, before it dawns upon him that what this man may mean is that he only just arrived.

"You suddenly found yourself here, right?"

Taking the trash out from the bakery, Leoben caught movement out of the corner of his eye. Turning to look, he saw what looked like some sort of pod disappear. But a man remained.

A new arrival, perhaps?

He started toward him, but keep his distance, well aware that many new arrivals weren't exactly quick to trust.

"Hello, there." he smiled, friendly.

Khan turned his head towards the sound of the step, then turned to face Leoben. "Hello," he said. "Where am I?"

Straight to the point, he could respect that.

"It's called Haurvatat." Leoben's eyes traveled to their surroundings, "A pocket dimension. We're all brought here. One moment one place, the next we're here."
