Someone came to a stop a few feet from her, his head cocked, studying her. "Anna," Xas finally said, stepping toward her, expression thoughtful. "Hello."

Anna paused at her name, then turned and looked surprised. Aaron had mentioned Xas was here, but seeing him was still quite a shock.

"Xas." She smiled gently, looking at him. He looked good even though it had been quite some time since she had seen him. "I heard you were here."

"And so I am." He nodded toward the direction she'd already been walking. "I can walk with you, if you'd like."

"Sure." She nodded, then started to walk again. She scooped a bit of mint chocolate chip and with only a slight hesitation, Anna held it out to him. "Ice cream?"

Aaron was pretty fond on ice cream as well, in no small part to how much his foster brother had loved it. He was swinging by the Sweet Shop to get a cone when he saw his aunt(?) inside. Smiling, Aaron went in as well.

"Hello, Anna. Great day for ice cream, right?"

She smiled when Anna saw Aaron. "Aaron." It was good to see him. "Every days' a good day for ice cream. Life lesson number twenty-three."

"You'll get no argument from me." Aaron said, getting a large chocolate-vanilla twist cone. "How have you been doing? All recovered from that Reaver business, I hope?"

Anna looked somewhat sheepish, but nodded. "Yeah. I'm a little embarrassed you saw that, actually."

She distracted herself momentarily by scooping some ice cream.
