It's almost one o'clock and I am just at Kerai's door. I had to work this morning, not that I couldn't have changed it. I try not to do that simply because I can, and one is a good time. "It is good to see you, Kerai. You are most welcome--and thank you for saying yes." She is the friend I know, solid and strong. It is a comfort and eases my nerves greatly. Really, why should I be so nervous? I know my city and Kerai would not laugh at me. "Are you ready?"

I offer my arm for the hallway at least. I can take the elevator with Kerai simply because it is more polite to do so. When we are in the streets, I speak again.
"Have you been to the holosuite before?" I ask. "Do you know if there are any programs of places you know? I would like to see one, if such exists."
If it did not before, perhaps it will show up if she wants it to.
