I have just finished
speaking with Richard at the library. Things could have gone much worse--he will let me try and rebuild his trust after my incredible stupidity. Things are more widespread than I imagined--there are rumours. These I must find out about because at least one of them I know is not true.
Tomorrow I can leave a message for Sophie and hope that she will speak with me. If she is not, I wait until she is. For now, I'm returning to my room. I don't know about food--I had a fine daymeal thanks to Duchess Polgara--but I should try to eat something. Calm down, relax, eat and try not to make myself ill. That will not help anything.
My arm is aching, too. The shower helps. I am so pleased that my room is changed; it makes it feel more like home.
He can be stopped on the way to room 150--he takes the stairs and not the lift.
