There's just living. And if you keep doing that, you'll be all right [closed to Juliet]

The experience of being completely without power for more than a day had been interesting. He'd traveled to so many places through the years that he'd certainly gone without power, for one reason or another. And in his Marine Corps days, electricity was a luxury also denied to him on occasion. But it's been a long time since he's had to go without it completely, and it certainly had him a little grumpy, though spending as much of his time by the lake as possible had helped to ameliorate that feeling.

The electricity's back on, though, and things are mostly back to normal, and he's looking forward to the coffee and breakfast ritual he's had with Juliet for a few weeks now. It'll be good to check in on her, too, make sure her and Jonah fared well through this.

But she's not at the bakery. Thinking maybe she had to go in early, or got tied up at the clinic, he brings coffee and breakfast to her office. But she's not there, either. He's a little worried, but he manages to control the worry, at least until he can check on her at her room. Hopefully, she's there, and maybe just feeling under the weather.

The coffee's cold by now, but he still brings it; it's not like it can't be reheated, after all.

He knocks firmly on her door. "Juliet?"
