I love listening to Holocaust survivors, it's so touching and incredible what they not only went through, but lived through!

So.. I actually have a fairly famous uote form Elizear Weisel because I just did a project on him. I don't know if you found one you already like or not so here it is, just in case:

"Never should I forget that nocturnal silence which deprived me, for all eternity, of the desire to live. Never shall I forget those moments which murdered my God and my soul and turned my dreams to dust. "

Anywho, Prom sounded really fun! I'm glad you had a great time.

yes, exactly. i always get at least close to tears when i hear their stories, because it's so powerful and so unimaginable that they went through it; but i will never stop wanting to hear their stories, because it's so important to keep the stories alive to prevent a repetition of the past.

ooh, that's a good one. i was trying to find a quote a speaker used but don't remember it exactly, so i browsed a site and found a few, one of which might be the one i'm looking for. i was looking for one something along the lines of the jews of the world preventing the holocaust from happening again (i remember i turned to my mom and said something like "now if the people of the world realized that they should help in darfur"). if you have any quotes like that, i'd love to see them! :D lolz
