You know what I like about my brother, Steve? Today is my dad's birthday and Sterling is living away from home. Steve gave my dad a gift and said that it was from both him and Sterling. Sterling isn't around during the week days and I thought it was so thoughtful of him to add another person's name to it when it was from him.

That's super sweet of your brother. =) And happy birthday to your dad.

All it takes to become a better writer is lots of practice. And reading as much as you do should definitely help you to improve on your writing skills as well.

Hmm, I miss writing. I wish I had Creative Writing, even though it's rather free of being taught, but I like that freedom. Hopefully through that class you'll be able to improve somehow. If you ever want corrections on your papers, some sort of response, or just want somebody to read it, I'd love to. =)

Thank you, Jamie. I'll be sure to tell my dad you said that. Haha, maybe, but I'm so fickle with finishing books. Thanks for the encouragement.

I'll trade you classes. Would rather have culture and film than creative writing. Ah, that is nice to know. You're always so kind. I'll keep that in mind. <3

Oh! By the way, I saw a girl with two friends walking around Southcenter with a poster that said "Free Hugs." I was tempted to go hug her, but I didn't. =/

She and her friends were walking in the opposite direction, so I'm not sure. As they were walking by, no one went up to hug them.

When my oldest brother died at age 37 my parents had no money. Jim had a drug problem and they gave all their cash to him. So my sister Ann and I paid for the $7000 funeral and my 32 yr old brother Dee who had a gambling problem could only contribute $200. When mom asked how we paid for the funeral, my siste and I told her that the both of us plus Dee paid for it equally and she wasn't to worry. Why upset her with a reminder that the younger son was in such a condition.
It's only money.

Wow. That is really cool of you and your sister to do that. You're right, it is only money. Her contentment means so much more.

In writing experience is the best way for improvement, in most things really. Practice, practice, practice...and now worries, if you want to be a writer, you will be a writer.
