Anyone wiyh a passing interest in television animation may recognise that name. Based in Manchester, in England thaey`ve produced some fantastic stuff, Dangermouse, Jamie and the Magic Torch to name just two.

But the reason I`m such a fan is their stop-motion animation work.
I`ll put a cut in here, as images and waxing lyrical are to follow.

I adore The Wind in the Willows. My brother, my dad and I used to watch it every week when it came on. I haven't seen it for years, but I've been thinking about it lately and have started to watch a few clips on YouTube. I think I've got several episodes taped though. What I really want to get is the DVDs...it looks like they've got the first two series out.

I've never heard of Lavender Castle before, I'll have to check it out! It looks very interesting...I love the look of that spacecraft. ;)

The fact that Ratty`s boat on the water was animated so beautifully was amazing.

Man, I remember that show being on about 8 years ago. I only ever saw a couple of episodes, but I wouldn't have minded seeing more.
