This is a good article. A friendly of mine lost a lot of weight, and was telling me about the good side effects of a cleanse. I just can't help but think that I'm ruining my metabolism by only drinking lemons, or whatever.
I knew someone who lost a bunch of weight on a cleanse too, and she was able to keep it off because she ate super clean after that (really reduced sugars, no fast food, etc). But most people go back to their old habits and gain it back. I can't help but think it can't be good for the body to deprive it of nutrients for very long.
