Gabriella smiled to herself as she read the last line of the last text, and decided that she would answer his question when she got downstairs, instead of answering via another text

Julian had figured early on in the night that Gabriella might chicken out so he sent her a text of encouragement. The idea wasn't to sway her but to assure her to have fun. That plan backfired. Gabby wanted out and like the gentleman he was he couldn't deny her. So he told Cassi he was so sorry but he had to go, slipped on his jacket and headed out the bar to go save the Princess from her scary castle.
Somehow Cassi had managed to slip her number in to his coat pocket, which he was currently examining. Julian was handsome, there was no doubt about it. He wore a black coat, one that looked like a sailor would wear, with the collar propped up to hug around his chin. His eyes were soft, his hair gently mused by the wind.
Suddenly he felt a pair of arms slip around his waist. He smiled, slipping the number back in to his pocket before he craned his head back, looking down at Gabby with an amused smile.
"Oh. You text emotes like a Japanese school girl, I hope you know that."
And handsome he did look, that was undeniable. It made her heart do a double beat as she pulled back to look him over, and let out a soft sigh. "You look so handsome today."
Not that she didn't look cute, she took pride in making herself look cute. But he was classically handsome, and she loved it.
"I had to google what a cat emoticon looked like, and I just copied it," she replied, a bit of a grin forming on her face as she slipped her arm in his. "Thank you for saving me, Prince Charming."
Julians smile grew as he flickered his gaze to her and chuckled.
"Princess, I always look handsome. But thanks anyways."
His eyes raked over her form the amusement still dancing across his face before he leaned in and gave her a quick peck on the lips, holding her arm firmly against his.
"And you look beautiful. That seems like an awful lot of effort. And don't worry about it, im just sorry I dont have a white steed to whisk you away in."
"It's not fair at all. I'm sure you look even more handsome right after you've woken up, when you're still kind of sleepy, and you have horrible bedhead. It makes me sick."
She beamed though when he looked her over, even though her cheeks did get the slightest of pink tinges as well. She returned the peck before nudging him to start walking.
"Thank you very much," she pressed her lips together and looked at the ground, the shy sort of thing. "Aw, shucks. Here I had been hoping that you would. Darn." She gave his arm a gentle squeeze. "I hope I didn't tear you away from anything too important."
