Gabriella smiled to herself as she read the last line of the last text, and decided that she would answer his question when she got downstairs, instead of answering via another text

Julian had figured early on in the night that Gabriella might chicken out so he sent her a text of encouragement. The idea wasn't to sway her but to assure her to have fun. That plan backfired. Gabby wanted out and like the gentleman he was he couldn't deny her. So he told Cassi he was so sorry but he had to go, slipped on his jacket and headed out the bar to go save the Princess from her scary castle.
Somehow Cassi had managed to slip her number in to his coat pocket, which he was currently examining. Julian was handsome, there was no doubt about it. He wore a black coat, one that looked like a sailor would wear, with the collar propped up to hug around his chin. His eyes were soft, his hair gently mused by the wind.
Suddenly he felt a pair of arms slip around his waist. He smiled, slipping the number back in to his pocket before he craned his head back, looking down at Gabby with an amused smile.
"Oh. You text emotes like a Japanese school girl, I hope you know that."
And handsome he did look, that was undeniable. It made her heart do a double beat as she pulled back to look him over, and let out a soft sigh. "You look so handsome today."
Not that she didn't look cute, she took pride in making herself look cute. But he was classically handsome, and she loved it.
"I had to google what a cat emoticon looked like, and I just copied it," she replied, a bit of a grin forming on her face as she slipped her arm in his. "Thank you for saving me, Prince Charming."
Julians smile grew as he flickered his gaze to her and chuckled.
"Princess, I always look handsome. But thanks anyways."
His eyes raked over her form the amusement still dancing across his face before he leaned in and gave her a quick peck on the lips, holding her arm firmly against his.
"And you look beautiful. That seems like an awful lot of effort. And don't worry about it, im just sorry I dont have a white steed to whisk you away in."
"It's not fair at all. I'm sure you look even more handsome right after you've woken up, when you're still kind of sleepy, and you have horrible bedhead. It makes me sick."
She beamed though when he looked her over, even though her cheeks did get the slightest of pink tinges as well. She returned the peck before nudging him to start walking.
"Thank you very much," she pressed her lips together and looked at the ground, the shy sort of thing. "Aw, shucks. Here I had been hoping that you would. Darn." She gave his arm a gentle squeeze. "I hope I didn't tear you away from anything too important."
"And when I wake my morning breath smells like fresh mint as well."
Nudge she did so walk they went. Julian lead her down the side walk where they would be heading to a quaint little ice cream shoppe about five blocks down. Blue eyes cast over to her as he canted his head to the side slightly, a smile breaking across his lips as he nudged her with his shoulder.
"I can go hot wire a shitty car if you want. Me? Nah, I was just at some bar. Its no bigge, I can do that any night. Meanwhile you,"
Julian looked over his shoulder back to the apartment Gabriella left behind.
"You sure they wont notice your gone? I dont know if your guardians would approve of you skipping out on festivities for the likes of me."
"I'm sure it does. Meanwhile I look more or less like a troll. It's horrible."
That was going to be perfect. It wasn't that she didn't want to be social, she just didn't do well in social situations, so while the desire was there, the anxiety always got the upper hand and she tried to get out of it as quickly as she could.
"A white Mustang? Alright. If we find one you can hot wire it." She grinned and gave him another teasing nudge. "Oh, right. I hope so. I'd hate to have pulled you away from something important. And me? You can do me any night, too."
...awkward throat clearing.
"I don't know. If they do, they'll just have to deal with it. I told both Jude and Jean-Paul that I was uncomfortable with the amount of people, especially considering what we'd be doing, but the people stayed, and so I left. It was easiest that way." A pause. "And shut up. He's not my guardian."
"No, no I look like a troll. My hair gets all knotted and I get gunk in the corners of my eyes. It's horrible." She was smiling though as he spoke, because it made her swell up with happiness inside.
Though when he laughed her cheeks turned scarlet and she gave him a hard nudge in the ribs. "Shut up! I didn't mean it like that. I meant like. You can call me any time and we can hang out. Not. Do me like that. Shush."
She groaned and shook her head again to try to get her hair to cover her face again.
"You could have come over in the first place. At least then I'd have another person I liked."
"Keep telling me baby , the gunk is such a turn on."
Julian said with a slight chuckle. He made a little noise when she nudged him in the ribs, glancing down at her with a raised brow. His hand slipped down her arm, lacing his fingers through hers as he gave her a quick squeeze and pulled her close. Julian brushed her hair behind her ear, smiling as he whispered warmly against it.
"Pity, and here I thought you finally wanted to visit that idea you gave me a few nights back. You know, me taking you up against a wall."
Yeah, that was going to drive her crazy , but Julian just smirked and walked forward pulling her along. And he gave her a shrug.
"Eh, the intimate party with friends isnt really my scene. I get along better with strangers."
She groaned softly at that and rolled her eyes at him, though grinned at the noise he made when she nudged him. The finger lacing was so much more intimate than just her holding his arm, so she returned the squeeze, and smiled.
Really, Julian? Now that's just cruel. Especially after the conversation with JP about it being his job to keep them from fucking. This? This wasn't helping at all. She made a soft noise, something that could easily be classified as a moan, and she stared at him for a moment, her mouth open as she tried to find words. Any words really, but instead she just tore her gaze away and licked her lips. This was cruel.
"Yeah. I...do too. I can talk to them and then never see them again."
okay, yes. He was kind of a dick. He battled with himself more then ever around her, it as not pleasant. Blue eyes just watched her as she stared, not saying anything and the corner of his mouth twitched upward slightly.
"Makes it easier."
He said softly, as if he was trying to help pull the conversation along and he walked forward tugging her gently along.
"Being around friends can be hard. So who was at the party anyways?"
No. It wasn't. Not for her, either, because really. If she hadn't had her silly morals, what with her boyfriend and not wanting to hurt Julian ever, she would be trying to find an alley he could do just that to her in.
"...yeah."
She cleared her throat again and walked with him, nodding slightly at the statement.
"Well, it was originally just going to be me, Jean-Paul, and Jude. But then he invited Eli, and alright, I was going to deal with that. But then his sister showed up, and then this cop named Frank, and that nearly sent me into a panic attack," she paused and chewed on her lip. "And uh, sometime along the way Sally showed up, and yeah...too many people. Too many I don't know well enough. Too many I don't know at all. And so I'm very thankful that I have you." She squeezed his hand.
Mmm, Ally sex. That'd be so so nice. However, she has her morals, Julians got this sick idea that she should be with Eli so cock blocking galore ensues.
"Eli, huh?"
He chuckled, giving her hand a squeeze as the walked along. His eyes flickered down to her. Julian did not get jealous, he did not.
"Shouldn't having your boy toy there make it all the better?"
...So not jealous. But her comment about being thankful Julian full out smiled, tugging her closer as well.
"Glad I got you too, Princess. Anytime you wanna run away you know my doors open."
Of course he didn't. Why would he get jealous? He could have any girl he wanted, anyway.
"He was happily eating brownies and all that with the rest of them," she replied quietly, that making her brow crease ever so slightly. Yes, Julian was probably right. Eli should have been the one there for her. To make things better, but it was also him that she had pretended to want it for. It was all a bit backwards.
She squeezed his hand again, and then let go of it, moving instead so her arms could go around his waist.
"Will you have a white steed, or a carriage for me, next time?"
Right, any girl he ever wanted . Of course he could. That was the dream, he supposed. Glancing down at her, she looked a bit upset, frowning and burrowing her brow like a bit menacing something or other. Her hand went around his waist and he rolled his eyes, putting his arm around her shoulder and tugged her in close to his side.
"Next time if I get enough warning Ill steal you one of those horse carriages from Central park and everything."
"Yes. He does. I told him that I would prefer that he didn't use anything around me, but seeing as this whole thing was for me to, you know, try it for the first time, I guess he thought it was alright. Which it should have been. I just chickened out."
Of course he could. He was nice and sweet and funny. And so handsome. What would keep him away? She grumbled because she saw him rolling his eyes, and gave him a gentle nudge. "Don't roll your eyes at me, Mr.Keller."
She huffed as she pressed her face against his chest, glad that they had finally arrived at their destination. "That sounds like a perfect plan. I'll make sure to call soon."

She made the mistake of her words and Julian barked out a laugh, glancing over at her and gave her a wide smile.
"..Well, shit. I knew you wanted in my pants pretty bad but this is getting ridiculous."
Hellion just hummed, brushing her hair out away from her face before he looked forward watching where they were walking.
"Their loss, my gain."
