We begin with the most important order of the day:  what will the headbanger give up for Lent?  In the past I've given y'all a chance to vote in a poll, but this year I've decided on my own.  And the winner is:  desserts, drinks containing sugar, and candy.  Basically things that contain refined sugar.  I have a HUGE sweet tooth, so this is, indeed ( Read more... )

Ok, the userpic is just cruel. :P Yes, I want to do it. In fact, I did it for several months after the unfortunate incarceration in the looney bin. I think one of the very key factors that attracts me to alchohol is the sugar content. I am a total sugar addict. doing this is good for me, and it will probably help that other little addiction I have that has been out of control of late (not that you can tell by looking at me).

Thank you! The day is beginning with a cup of hot tea sweetened with Equal. Later I'll make some scrambled eggs with egg beaters. I need to go shopping for some regular creamer, as all my coffee creamers are flavored and have sugar in them.

Eating fresh fruit could be good for you, since it has unrefined natural sugars and won't cause the major spikes and drops that refines sugar causes. Plus, they don't have the undesirable effects of artificial sweeteners.

I have picked up some red delicious apples and will getting more fruit in the future I'm sure. Luckily for me, I love almost every fruit but oranges.
