Very well concieved work. And totally heart breaking. Don't want to spoil too much in the comments...but I actually felt more pain for Draco than for Harry. Yet at the same time there is a small shred of hope because the time line we know still leaves room for them to be together!

Well done and congratulations on a very enjoyable read! :)

Thank you so much for reading and reviewing! Trust me, my heart broke too while writing this. Many times over, for them both, but since I was writing from Draco's POV, from his especially. I had to leave the small shred of hope. I just couldn't leave them like that! Thanks again so much! =D

I really like how this began with the retelling of such a critical moment between the two. I think that was both poignant and important. I loved the next section- there was so much care and concern and their friendship was incredibly beautiful. It was really gorgeous how Harry was taking care of him and how Draco mentioned he needed him. The tenderness and care between them was lovely ( ... )

I think I kinda deserve a reward, too. I have refreshed like a mad refreshing woman every day before leaving for work. I almost forgot today! But was so happy when I checked, haha.

How beautiful and heartbreaking all at once! That Draco did what he did... it's so amazing and wonderful. I hope he takes the Letter to heart :)

What Draco did broke my heart to make him do... but I'm so happy that it impacted you so much. =D I think the letter will take him by surprise, but you know how those EWE fics tend to work out... ;) Maybe I'll write one of those, next! I usually stay away from character death!fics, but I'm so glad I took the chance to read yours! utterly heartbreaking, an exquisitely written piece of writing. And, thank for ending the fic with that last little bit of hope... I hope Draco listens to what he's written there.... *wipes at face* whoo-boy.

Please pretty please I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that we wouldn't mind a sequel/mini-future fic sometime in the future, I sooo want to see whether Draco has taken the letter to hear!

Thank YOU so much for reading and taking the time to review. =D I'm so glad you gave this a chance, despite the warning... I toyed for a long time about whether it could even be TECHNICALLY considered a CD fic, since... well, you know what happens. But I decided I couldn't do that... I know someone would end up upset even at the bit of death that IS there... because I got so upset just WRITING it! Honestly, I put that off for days and days. I had to end with a bit of hope at least, afterwards. =D I am sooo glad you enjoyed it so much. A sequel may be an option. My head's definitely not out of this universe quite yet. ;)
