Now that your curiosity has been quenched, nqdonne and I would like to thank everyone who signed up, and we're really looking forward to an amazing fest this winter. We think the lottery system worked out really well, and we're so excited about all the new people diving in head-first for this round.
We will be working on the assignments over the next few days, and aim to have assignments out by the end of next week. After that, we'll be posting the sign-up for pinch hitters (those who did not get chosen via the lottery system are encouraged to sign up).
Again, thank you to everyone who threw their hat into the ring - we wish we could have included all of you! Alas...we'd like more time this holiday season to do actual holiday things.
