My ongoing saga of unemployment--today the phone rang at 11am. It was the temp agency, wanting to know if I could work at 1:00. Now, I live in the suburbs, and the train ride into the city is about 45 minutes, plus it takes me at least 15 minutes to walk to the station, the trains only come once an hour at that time of day, and I wasn't "dressed ( Read more... )

Whoever came up with the idea of egg nog should be revered for all time. That stuff is so good. I wish it was available year-round. I like to add it to my coffee in the morning for a lame approximation of the Starbuck's egg nog latte. Yesterday I went letterboxing with my boyfriend. Letterboxing, if you don't know (and most people don't) is sort of like geocaching without the GPS and the knicknacks.
