I just found out that one of my best friends from high school has chronic leukemia, and unfortunately is not a match for anyone in the bone marrow donor database. It's really strange to know that someone my age has a deadly illness, especially since she was always very healthy back in school. So, I haven't written in a while because of my new temp job. I do get internet access, but I'm paranoid that people are checking over my shoulder to see if I'm really working. It bugs me that people can't trust me to do my job efficiently.

No, I didn't get a permanent job. Yesterday's interview went okay, I guess. I can never gauge those things. But, I interviewed today for a 3+ months temp assignment, and I got the position!
