Trelawney has definitely got something going on. I love how none of these people really trust each other's judgment enough to give serious consideration to what they say. Dumbledore doesn't trust Trelawney, Harry doesn't trust Dumlbedore or Hermione. And then of course none of them really gives any reason to be trusted, either. Trelawney is kind of a nutcase, and Dumbledore just gets all cryptic when it's Harry's life on the line, plus he's been wrong a bazillion times before, and Hermione couldn't tact her way out of a paper bag, plus she's too stubborn to listen to reason, either.
This is so real it's driving me mad! This is what real life is like. No matter how much I sit here and wish the characters would Get. A. Clue., it won't happen, because people in real life just go on refusing to listen to each other.
This is what I love about Jo, and yet it makes me frustrated, too. Which I suppose is a good sign. I like to feel strongly about things.

Then again, it would be a bit like reusing one of her old plots, and this book has been pretty fresh and interesting so far...
