I have been having heaps of fun lately re-watching The Office (UK). I had forgotten how funny and extremely awkward every scene is with David Brent. LOL. It is so hard to watch all his scenes yet you cannot look away. Most of the time, I am sitting there shocked at his behaviour yet highly entertained. I also love Tim and his banter with Gareth. I love the UK version of the office but I agree it is very different. I dont really get the hate the Brits have over our version. Anytime I see a video or something on YouTube it always has some hate in the comments. I think the harshness of the Uk version is because of the differences in comedy between UK and US. Their shows are always a bit more off-beat and darker then American shows and you can really see the difference here. I really like the differences between Michael and Brent though. I totally agree about it being hard to watch, but hard to turn away. Brent is so awkward and jerky. I really like how Steve brought more sentimentality to his role. Although people see Michael as jerky and he does do the wrong thing he has a good heart. All he wants is a family and friends and to have people like him. I never got that from Brent. Ricky Gervais did a great job with Brent and I am glad ours isn't just trying to copy the UK version. I always liked Tim/Dawn but never as much as Jim/Pam. I dont know why but I always felt more ( ... )

I know what you mean, you never got to like David all that much where as we do get to see some sincere stuff from Michael. Its so sad sometimes, cos as you said, he does just want friends and family but he is hopeless in going about it.
Yeah Jim/Pam ftw, I was soo in love with them when I started watching it. Their chemistry was so good, and you were just drawn to them.

LOL The Office finale was awesome! OMG Michael and his joy over Tobey leaving! LOL. The timer on his watch, his dance in the office and the song. tee hee.
Yah and Dwight and Angela at the end was hilarious!

Totally catch up on GG it is the best guilty pleasure, and Lily/Rufus are love.

I agree with everything you said regarding Bones and Gossip Girl. They both just keep getting better and better every week, I absolutely love them. I hope this isn't the end of Dan/Serena though, as I really do love them too. I'm worried about the finales, they'll probably make them as shocking as possible!
