Today's Snowflake Challenge is to share a non-fannish passion with your f-list. Most of you already know this, because I complain/brag about yarn crafts a lot, but I love to knit and crochet. I suck at most art, especially things like drawing. I adore watching other people draw and looking at their art, and I wish it was a skill I had. But if my life depended on it, I couldn't draw you anything that looks different from what your average 8 year old produces.Are you in my brain? Oh, wait, you are, never mind *gg* I've always been SOO jealous of people who can draw (Sveta can, I'm only left to admire her work) because I have such a wild imagination and would give a limb to be able to make something tangible of it ( ... )

Yeah, my bff can draw too. She's amazing, and she makes it look easy.

Cross-stitch I did for maybe one summer. I don't have the patience for it, but it looks beautiful. My mother used to cross-stitch. Aww, that's awesome about the tardis. It's totally the thought that counts, m'dear. And we just won't mention that birthday fic I've been writing for you for a year now. /o\ And, yes, it's canvas, the cloth with the holes. Haha, we know how to pick 'em ;D Vera can draw too, lol, maybe I subconsciously surround myself with people that can draw to fill the Void *gg*

Heh, I actually typed moulinet (we use that French word in Russian) into ABBY Lingvo and "colour threads" was what I'd got,how dare you fail me, ABBY Lingvo? *eyes stupid dictionary*

It's a great hobby! I don't do it as often as I'd like, because it involves a whole bunch of set-up and then I'm super paranoid there will be glass slivers on the floor for months that kiddos and kitties will find. But when I'm doing it, LOVE.
