Because an exchange is only as good as the people who sign up...

Someone is organizing a DWP Secret Santa Exchange ( sign up post is here), where the assignments go out December 1st, if I read correctly, and are due Christmas Eve.

Meaning, of course, that there's no interference with the SS/HG Exchange, so I'm not overcommitting at all :)

Oh no. I've never done a fest or fic exchange. I chafe at prompts and deadlines if I don't set them myself. I am bad at stuff like that, so why am I having to FORCE MYSELF TO SIT ON MY HANDS? D:

Otoh, it's the only real shot I've got at forcing somebody to write me some Miranda/Christian. Or Miranda/Stephen. Or Miranda/Nigel. (To be weighed against the problem that everybody would see my requests and would PRAY that they were not assigned to be my Santa.)

And see, I think writing Miranda/Nigel would be awesomely fun. But that's just me...

I won't tell you to do it, but I will say that you never know how you do at fic deadlines if you don't try at least once ;)
