This might be covered by the 'skins' item, but is it possible to have one that doesn't have the image behind the story text? It's pretty mild, yes, but I find it a bit distracting. Black on white I don't mind (in fact I prefer it), I just find it a bit difficult to read with a patterned background. Maybe move it to the left-hand side?

I should have spoken up before, but I suck D:

If you go to the top right corner (or left in some cases), you will see a drop down menu that says: Blue Skies, Clean, or xoxo. Both Blue Skies and xoxo don't have images behind the text. My favourite is Blue Skies since xoxo shifts everything over the right, which I find is worse.

[Sorry to jump in, but I wanted to help. =D]

Speaking up now is still good!

I see mlui187 responded with info about the other skins - did you find this helpful? Or did you mean you would like a version of the Clean skin without the background art?

The others are better, certainly, thanks. :). But if you happen to have the free space/time, Clean sans image would be a nice-to-have (rather than a must-have)...

So quick question - does that if I submit all one-shots, I can have four one-shots? Or would that not count...

You mean in one day? We have an overall cap of twenty stories per day for the Recently Updated page so that all stories get good time on the first page. So we have put a cap in place for authors to only submit two stories a day each, that way it gives a fair chance for more authors to get their stories/chapters approved per day.

You can submit two one-shots in a day, or you can submit one one-shot and three chapters of another story (with the four chapters cap per day). Does that answer your question?
