Guys, Super Bowl evening was a blast. I was taken to the ER by my parents around eleven pm in fear I had appendicitis. At first they said the ultra sound showed no signs of it, that was good, but they did two tests, that were extremely uncomfortable to rule out ovarian cysts. At seven the next morning, I had only been able to grab a small amount of ( Read more... )

Thanks, bb. My sister was so worried about me, but has a lot of school stuff to do, so she didn't get to come with me to the hospital. My parents were there, and told me she was texting them constantly.

Yeah, the nurses were phenomenal, and the anesthesiologist was so on top of things, which helped a butt load since most things that go wrong in surgery are do to anesthesia. And the ultrasound guy was adorable, we thought he was in his late twenties but he told us he's like forty-one.

Anyways, thanks again bb ♥

O_O oh snap I'm so sorry! As one who has been in the ER a lot I know how those highly uncomfortable tests go. Wait, you're in LO, right? Did you go to Meridian? Cause I LOVE their late night/early morning ER shift. The lady doc with the curly blonde hair (whose name I can't remember) is fantastic and also really good at keeping you calm. And the nurses in that ER are golden! I always end up the only patient in the ER so they always gang up on my room and spend the time laughing and joking with me. On the other hand, I freaking hate the nurses in the first floor ward. =_= I started calling one of them Nurse Ratchet.

I'm glad surgery went well, though, and that you're recovering easily!

Thanks bb!
No, I went to Sunnyside since I'm a Kaiser member. Nurses are just so amazing, they are one of the most unappreciated workers to so many and that's just not cool.

I had to get my fist pelvic exam by a male doctor. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but still creepy when the doc, who's very kind and gentle, said "I know sweetie, it's very uncomfortable. I muttered to my mom next to me, "how would you know, you don't have a cervix."

Even the woman who took my blood was great when I first got there, we chatted a bit, mostly me since I was creaking out at the idea of having ovarian cysts.

Thanks again :] <3
