It occurs to me, after watching this film, that if the Carnahans and O'Connells had been written out of this movie entirely, it would've been an amazing story.

I've always wanted to see an edit of Simply Irresistible that simply cuts all the shots of the *($#&($ magic crab. Cutting all the Mummy-franchise characters from this would be harder, but might actually work.

You know, I have to agree with you there. I found myself sort of enjoying it, even despite not!Evie but if we'd just focused on Lin - yeah, that would be better and entirely more awesome.
