The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor

It occurs to me, after watching this film, that if the Carnahans and O'Connells had been written out of this movie entirely, it would've been an amazing story.

You're not wrong. It wasn't a terrible plot... as such. Just a terrible sequel.

Exactly. The plot was pretty interesting, taken without the Mummy characters.

I cringed every time Evie was on screen, and you know how much I adored her in the first two movies.

The Yeti were awesome. As were Michelle Yeoh and Isabella Leong.

the "I'm not the same woman..." line was priceless, though.

I have to admit to snickering a little on that one, yes! :)

I thought she should have been able to kill the Emperor too. I get that the O'Connells tie the story together and I love the first two movies but did the white dudes always have to come in and save the day?

I mean, he killed her parents and she's spent 2,000 years guarding his tomb. At the very minimum, could she be part of the end fight? Maybe it could've been Lin and Alex, instead of Alex and Rick?

Now that would have made the movie make more sense!
