Honestly, I don't think the awards were promoted period. I don't remember seeing them mentioned beyond one or two personal journals (I think mostly sg_fignewton)

Hey, at least you didn't find out that your stuff got nominated roughly, uh, three hours before the acceptance deadline. That was fun.

So not impressed with the logistics here.

... it's kind of sad that this was the only reason I realized voting was up.

(I'm nominated, too, and don't recognize the other names offhand, but I can't muster up enough enthusiasm to actually bother promoting it. *wry grin*)

The SGFA is way behind schedule this year with kinda lousy promotion -- how'd you even know voting was open? I haven't seen anything. (Little judgement on them -- it's a hard and fairly thankless job a lot of the time.)

Having been on the team for a few years, I'm reasonably certain that if you point out those femslash comms, they'll add them to their promotion circuit. Femslash has always been hard to come by for these awards.
