Stargate Fanfic Awards
Oh, hey, voting is now open on those. I'm nominated!
Of course, there are five whole nominations in Gateverse femslash. Five! Wow, that's so-- It's almost like no one promoted nominations to the Stargate femslashers that haven't fled the fandom. OH, WAIT. No one did. I have both the femslash comms stalker-pinned, and there wasn't a single post relating to this year's SG fanfic awards on it.
Femslash: We're so not where it's at. Not that I'm bitter. (Sarcasm/Havoc = Today's OTP.)
Anyway, yeah, two of those five nominations for femslash are mine. Two more are friends (*waves to falcon_horus and muppetmanda*). The fifth nomination is no one I recognize, and is gratuitous wish fulfillment in post-Heroes fanfic form. (Which, mind you, I get. It's not like I haven't written that sort of thing. Several times. Or so. For multiple characters. Yes, I'm pathetic. I know.)
Also! Damn.
cnidarian and I are up against each other in Daniel/Other, which is where all the Daniel/Janet fic is residing these days. I'm betting we both lose, seeing as how we're up against
synecdochic. Dude. There's just plain no way.
I should probably go and list what stories I'm nominated for. Which I will do later. Almost time to go home! Long weekend, yay!
