I'll bet there are old women of seventy-plus who would be able to provide you with an opinion, but this ancient crone is as baffled by your post as if it were written in Choctaw.

What's a Eureka, in the context of your post? What's a ficathon? What's ficcing [I'm almost afraid to ask that one]? What's a crossover request, let alone a Eureka-only request? Whatever in the good green world is a "gen Eureka ficathon"?

I am so 20th century.... maybe late 19th century...

*SQUEAK* A Eureka ficathon?! *bounces* I'd totally be interested! And allowing for the possibility for a crossover with other fandoms like SG-1 or SGA would be awesome as well. That'd make it more likely to draw people who enjoy both fandoms. :)

I would love to participate in this. Would the fics be due sometime this summer, because then I would actually have time to work on it, along with the auficathon fic, once classes let out for the summer. :)

I was totally planning on having the stories not be due for a while! No dates figured out yet, just trying to gauge interest. Because, omg! Eureka! Allison! Carter! Beverly! Zoe! Nathan! Jo! Everyone!

IOW, I would love to work around your school schedule in order to lure you into writing for it!

Ack! ACK! See, I am resolved not to do ficathons anymore. RESOLVED. Butbutbutbut....Eureka is testing my resolve. *wibbles*

I'll try to catch it when it comes out on dvd. I have so many other shows to catch up on right now it'll probably take that long.

I mentioned it to the one fan I know. It'll depend on her schedule unfortunately. But she knows about it and I mentioned it in my journal.

Thanks! I'll probably get a timeline and a comm set up next week. I figure it'll be a small ficathon, and therefore doable.

Honestly, it's a 12 episode season, so it's a short time committment.
