I really need to dig up and post some of my earlier darker (non-smutty) writing.

Though I wasn't a huge fan of Caitlyn and it kinda ticked me off, cause Caitlyn was one of my favorite firt names... and they gave her MY last name, damnit.
I liked her, she was ok, but she didn't DRAG ME IN like Lillie did.
Though that could have also been because I always had so much fun playing Toreador characters when we were running around and playing Vampire.

Caitlin was okay. Like, I can see where they were going with her, but the necessity of keeping her in the dark about the nature of vampires was getting REALLY annoying. It made her look far more stupid than she was.
Lillie, though? Oh, Lillie really dragged me in.
*giggling* You know, for all I have mad love for the Toreador, I've never played one for more than a few weeks. They got a very bad rep in the Chicago area. Let's see. I've also played Brujah, Malkavian, Setite, Giovanni, and Cappadocian. I've done one-shot Tremere and Nosferatu characters, and I had a City Gangrel for a while. But my Toreador was only in play for maybe a month at most before that game ended.

Have you ever seen the Lillie miniseries with Francesca Annis? It plays a little fast and loose with history, but that's somehow appropriate, y'know? I also have the biography it's based on. I know it was never explicitly said that Kindred Lillie = historical Lillie, but it's fun and makes sense. :-)

I haven't seen the miniseries, but I'd love to. I don't suppose you happen to have it on DVD or tape?

It does exist on pro video (definitely VHS, not sure about DVD), so dollars to donuts it can be ahemmed too.
