Leverage 2.12 blow by blow

Jan 27, 2010 22:05

I've been looking forward to this episode so, so much. Ever since Rogers et al tweeted about it way back during filming, not to mention all the little hints and whatnot that he's dropped in his blog. And the previews? Yeah.

:grabbyhands:

So, without further ado... )

Gah! Not reading spoilery impressions yet. Thank you for reminding me Leverage is on tonight! I almost forgot. My only excuse is that I'm starting to come down with a cold, and my brain is going in a whole bunch of directions all at once. Plus now I just remembered it's garbage night! So instead of taking a hot shower and going to bed, I get to collect all the garbage, covered in a million and one ants, and take it outside. Whee! At least I managed to set the DVR to record Leverage, but I'll have to watch it tomorrow.

Thank you. I'm still trying to work up the courage to go do that little chore. At least it's not raining, so there's a sliver of silver lining there!

First thought - Starling/Eliot hate sex. Unnnff. Also, am loving Eliot's beaded braids peaking out from his hair. Adorable! And Hardison and Parker's gleeful/smug looks when Eliot was beating the shit out of Sterling. Nate's drinking...dnw so much. But I like that they brought it back into play.

Hee Parker! She's so smart about breaking into shit. Oh look, there's Maggie. She knows you've been a baaaad boy, Nate! ;D

....I ship Parker/Maggie so hard. Tara can join in on that shit too. Mmmm. AND PARKER. OH YOU. going to the museum and just checking out the security, not the art. I love that Parker and Hardison always play the couple. Fucking adorable. I love Parker's outfit. Hehe.

"Do the thing with your eyes that scares people." He looks really ridiculous. I'm not scared of him at all, just amused. And Tara just being quiet and stoic and the guy RUNS. oh oh oh <3 ( ... )

I thought you were going to bed! Withholding the viewing love from me, lol.

We think alike when it comes to reacting to shows, most of the time. This episode is amazing, definitely in my top 5 now!

As for next week: YES YES YES YES. Also, THE CRYING. Sweet merciful Buddha this show is trying to kill me!

I stayed up to watch the ep and did a quick reaction, I was just too tired to really do much more than that, haha. <33

I really really adore this show. It's so amazing.

Eliot's smirk near the end damn near KILLED me... Christian really got to play out a lot of his register this time. And the scene in the park with him and Tara and his sudden bout of woobie-ness and then the look and Tara being all cool and silent and yeah... something of a favorite.

All in all a very brilliant episode - again :)

I adored the scene with Tara. The fact that he ends up growling in frustration around her all the time makes me happy, but they also work pretty well together. And I loved the woobie-ness (oh, "like love?" pinged so much of "sometimes he lets me fight" I literally flailed in the room) especially since Rogers has mentioned that (canonically) Eliot will never hook up with team members. Also? With how Tara is totally ex-spy. Wasn't that one of Mike's VO tips? If you say nothing they fill in the blanks on their own...?

And as a side note? The opening beat up is so OT3. XD

Yes, Tara is so much ex-spy, the fill in the blanks this time, cryptology last week, there's no doubt in my mind :)

And yeah, the growls....

And Hardison and Parker totally grabbed Eliot and had their way with him off screen :D

Oh another thing, Parker going to a museum for the securitysystems? So. Much. Love!!

Yes! Maybe poor Hardison should have tried the word "vacation", hehehe...
