And, just a fangirly aside... Yay! "fred" (amy acker) - and, um, was that sparkage, or do i need to take the goggles off? And also - Tamoh Penikett (BSG)! the cast + Whedon is all the reason I'll need to give it another chance... like you said. I think it has great potential.

Acker was a definite benefit. And it might be sparkage, I wasn't sure just because I've got this very nagging feeling that her character is abused. She's jumpy as a kicked kitten, y'know?

definitely. She's either the stand-up doc who insisted on experimenting on herself first, or the first experiment - maybe both! (wiped, but knows she's wiped, therefore can't get close to anyone 'cause she knows it's impermenant)

I gotta say, though. As much as i ♥ Glau & Dushku, I kept waiting for them to flash a phone number at the bottom of the screen during those in-betweens - ugh. They're too hot without trying, them trying was just wrong somehow.

Yes, Eliza is unquestionably hot, but it kind of bothered me how they had her running around in skimpy tank tops and stuff. It makes me think of what Fox did with Jessica Alba on Dark Angel, with the motorcycle riding and the tank tops and the 'yeah, I'm a bad ass, let me show you" vibe. Meh. It just seemed to objectify her a little. But then again, maybe that was the point.

Not too bad. Still kinda staticy but getting better. What've you been up to?

Eh, I'm okay. Just the usual mundane routine and reorganizing some stuff. Haven't felt great the last couple days, but I'm doing better now.
