I watched both Gunn and Buffy fight off the demons. They had the right idea. Of course Gunn would remember, we'd fought this type before. Always go for the throat, kind of demons. Not all that hard, much like humans. I hung back, making my way over to the girl

Quickly I stood up and met Wes' eyes. He was like covered in all that ...ew, nasty. I looked over at Gunn and he nodded at me, then we were back into action. One more left, this was going to be fun. Lashing out, I shoved it back against the wall, kicking the midsection as Gunn came up behind me

The girl, after thanking me profusely, had ran off. Back to her parents she'd said. I had no doubt about that, she looked very afraid of what happened. No doubt a run way who would think about doing that three times before doing it again.

I'd sunk down near the wall, rubbing my temples. Some advil would be nice by now. Or a hammer. Knock me out, that be nice too. I could hear the fight going on inside and the silence. Dragging my head up, I watched both Gunn and Buffy come out and mustered up a small smile at her remark.

"I suppose so," I sighed.

"Shit," Gunn said. He dropped his axe and grouched down next to me, putting his hand on my shoulder. "You really do have them. Shit!" He growled and looked about ready to punch the wall. "And no Angel to deal with them. Yeah, that worked so well last time." He scowled and then sighed.

"I'm sorry," I muttered, trying to make myself small. I felt as though our new problem was all my fault. After all, I was the one with the visions now.

Talking business. Well, that's good. Would there be alot of business to talk? I wasn't sure, but I guess I was about to be filled in on what they do here, or how they do it, which won't matter much because if I'm here, and I'm in charge, of well, getting people help, and helping and ... slaying, and ... stuff, then I have to have my own system and I think we're all going to bump heads at some point. But, I have to have it my way, because I'm the Slayer, that's just how it works, at least it did back in Sunnydale

It was almost like old times to hear Gunn talk. Except, there was no Cordelia this time. But there was Buffy. I could almost see Cordy fuming in hell about that. But she'd know neither of us have much choice in the matter. We all saw how wrong it went last time. Certainly, we came far. But we wouldn't have survived in the end. Not just with the three of us

What was this? They both looked at me weird and then Wes asked if I was actually getting my own place. Well, that's what I wanted to do, seeing as if I've never lived on my own and really? The idea of living with Wes and Gunn, wasn't all that exciting

I blinked at her. She really had no idea how things worked here did she? "Yes," I said, turning toward Gunn. "Just like we had at the hyperion." Except without the lurking vampire around, destroying a punch bag every week. Wonder if Buffy has that habit too. "I think the library could also be the office, that would save some space. Is there enough room for that downstairs?"

Gunn nodded. His eyes narrowed as he thought over the lay out of the warehouse. "Yeah. Should be doable. Can divide it up just as upstairs. Make the rooms the size we want them in." He smiled a that, no doubt picturing a very large training room and weapons room. Though, I very much doubted we'd need a whole room for weapons

I raised my eyebrow at her when she said I'd be sleeping. That wasn't exactly the plan, I wanted to do some more research first. I still had the notes from when I'd researched those visions through the years. Trying to find a solution for Cordelia. Until she was turned into a half demon and it was no longer necessary
