That wine is mostly from a clone of the Tempranillo grape called "Tinto Fino". That is where you get that huge flavor. I personally love the big flavors that Spanish Tempranillos give. Though the '99 vintage was the first wine ever produced by Aalto their winemaker Mariano García is world renowned. Sadly, the cork didn't age well. The wine was slightly corked, and the cork itself fell apart so we had to strain the pour. All in all however, it was fantastic!
