Rachel and I have been really enjoying Spanish wines of late. We were gifted with a particularly awesome one:
Aalto Ribera del Duero 1999
I'm not familiar with Spanish varieties, but this was a spicy, deep red. It was low tannin, and the lingering notes on my palate were very robust. I really enjoyed it.
I've also been doing a bunch of cooking recently. In the last few weeks, I've made a bunch of pie: Key lime, lemon meringue and sweet potato. I'm so happy with my new kitchen!
