So, I stayed away from tumblr and twitter and livejournal for pretty much most of the day until Id gotten a chance to watch the Doctor Who episode, and now that I have I feel like I can share my thoughts. Also I am waiting on HQ screencaps so that I can make icons, since I actually haven't made any icons in awhile ( Read more... )

where are the screencaps, i can't wait to make icons, oh man, in which i actually like river song, !public, doctor who is the greatest thing ever, doctor who is finally here

Tumblr is my spoilers downfall, seriously. I've had mostly no issues with lj, not when it comes to the newest eps at least, but tumblr? Oh gosh. I stay away from there when a new ep has aired and don't go back until I've watched it.

Personally, I love River :p. And yesss, adorable Rory is adorable :p.

There are certain shows I don't mind spoilers on, some I will even read spoilers for but Doctor Who is a big no no and I started to see screencaps and gifs all over the place so I had to stay away, and there are a few people who post to LJ after seeing DW in the UK without a cut and I am spoiled.

Rory! I am so glad that he's going to be around permanently!

I don't even know what I think. I enjoyed it, for sure. It was entertaining. But I'm still trying to wrap my head around what I think might actually be going down with future!Doctor and all that. And since there's really no way to know until next week or until the end or the series or however long it takes everything to be revealed (and knowing Moffatt, surely later rather than sooner), I'll just be confused for a while and not have much constructive input. XD

I must say, I think the flirting was so adorable. And Eleven wanting admirers. And the painting. WTF, Eleven? I love you.

Yes I am thinking it will all be later than sooner, I honestly wish he didn't have to make everything so confusing, but I think it all comes back to the Future Doctor that is jailed up, the one with the beard.

I agree, as someone who never really cared for River I found those two quite adorable, I really hope to see her character developed more.

I never heard of the idea that Amy's child being River. Wouldn't that be a twist. I really felt like so much was going on in this episode for me to keep track of ... which requires me to rewatch. Maybe we could do that together.

I've read that either they're related or the same person, people feel like their names hae something to do with it. Amy Pond,River Song are both water related names.

The episode had a lot going on, it was a bit much. I''d like to rewatch if you want although I know your sister is in town so I'm not sure when we can do that.
