Now that it doesn't matter so much, I've finally found something that seems to keep the pre-natal vitamin down. My diet hasn't been too healthy throughout. This girl is mainly comprised of Lindt chocolates, over-processed foods, and anything else that actually helps to put/keep the weight on. Hardly any vegetables, but plenty of fruit. I'm sure your little girl will be perfect, just like you. When is your documented due date? Our two year anniversary is on the 7th - perhaps she'll be born then, or on Valentine's day.

Hospital papers filled out beforehand is good. Birthing takes a lot out of you and the less you have to do afterwards, the better. How are you going to decorate her room?

I first saw Sidhe in a book explaining the origins of the word banshee. That it was derived from a monster that was the bane of the Sidhes existence. Shee is how Sidhe sounds phonetically, so it makes sense.

Perfect?:) I'd settle for a few missing fingers (the unimportant ones) and a relatively intact mind. Already, I'm wondering if she'll have an addictive personality, if she'll be another sleepwalker, if when she wakes up screaming will it be night terror or a sign that she's psychotic. Wonderful. Take things as they come, if they come.
The seventh would be nice, but she hasn't dropped yet. I don't want her born on Valentine's day though; most kids don't care to be born on holidays (takes away from their "special day").
For her room, I'm going to hang up pictures from past calendars. How have you decorated Aviendha's?
Why is it that in so many books, "woman/girl" is a synonim for monster? Perhaps it is less what we are and rather what we bring out in men?

We haven't decorated Aviendha's room yet because she's still sleeping in our room. She doesn't have space of her own. Our house is tiny. I want to paint on the walls near when she sleeps but have to find the time.

Have you read Beowulf? Grendel is perhaps the most famous female monster. I think it stems from the fact that we can bear life. We have too much power for most men to deal with.
