Not the best day. I get a deadly embrace from a large cephalopod after simply trying to get a closer look to investigate it. The rest of the day happens to carry a fishy smell to it...and I didn't feel like enjoying the breeze on deck anymore after...that. It's hard to keep up with the other journals around here! You're gone for a day trying to make sense of the map and everyone is panicking about giant insects.
