Day 02: Your favourite movie

Feb 03, 2010 00:12

I've seen a lot of movies.

And I mean A LOT of movies.

More than I can remember and more than for me to simply pick one as my favourite. I've seen a lot of movies that I've liked, but those that I count as my favourites aren't usually the Oscar-winning type movies or anything like that. Ahh I love that film, too!

I love the airport scene at the start and the one with Alan Rickman/Gabriel drinking the Tequila (but not... lol).

:D

Nice choice! I just watched that one again a few weeks ago. It really 'gets' religion, in a potty-mouthed sort of way :)

As for my favorite movie... it would probably be a tie between 'The Princess Bride,' and 'Pride and Prejudice.' I am a sap for romance and comedy!

It treats religion in such an awesome way which is also one of the reasons why I love it :) I love their approach on God and the 13th apostle!

Princess Bride is a great one as well and I guess Pride and Prejudice is also one of my favourites, although I prefer the book :)

"Princess Bride" - definitely one of my favourites too! :)

Haven't seen "the Dreamers"... and it's set in Paris as well, *gasp*!! I should probably go rent it or something soon.

I saw "It's a wonderful life" the one time and it made me cry my eyes out. Not exactly my favourite, but definitely in most memorable movies!

Hee! Oh Alan as Metatron! How I LOVED watching him and this movie was just FUN! It's not a feel-good movie... but it IS in that it just makes you laugh and not take life too seriously. Love it!

Alan Rickman is da man! :D

He's such an awesome actor and I love him in Dogma. As you said, it's just so much fun to watch and I also like all the references to the other Kevin Smith movies :)
