Lol, I'm mostly watching Rome at the moment but I will definitely continue to watch Bones. I didn't realise they were already airing season 3!

Happy New Year!

Rome is fantastic. Season 1 and 2 are rather different in texture due to the passage of story time and certain thematic changes and the expansion of the world pictured, but that was all to the good, I think. All in all a really fabulous show.

I've just finished watching yet another episode with my mum and we're really enjoying. The acting is very good and I think they did a terrific job with costumes and set! Which time period do they feature in season 2? Do all the characters change then?

I'm glad someone else on my f-list is watching it :)

Happy New Year!

Season 2 is quite compressed because of how much they wanted to get in for their final season, and the inevitable focus on Antony and Cleopatra. They start where the previous left off and it runs through to Augustus' rise to power. They felt they had to change actors for Octavian because of the age thing which is a shame since the young actor was fabulous, but everyone else is the same.

And Happy New Year to you too! :)

Sounds exciting, I can't wait to see how they handle it! Thanks for the summary, I guess I need to save up now to buy season 2... or probably download it :)

I really want to see Enchanted. It seems a very interesting movie. Unfortunately, I don't have much time, always having loads os things to do :(

If you have some spare time, I definitely recommend Enchanted, it was really very good and very entertaining. I Am Legend with Will Smith was also great, although it's a completely different type of movie :)

Happy New Year!

Glad you liked Bones :)

I've got a couple of Kathy Reichs books if you want to borrow them when you're back from France. They're quite different in style, but still good.
