So it's ok for Beato to brutally murder him or his family, but he's automatically a horrible person for finally snapping and slap her? And actually (been a while since I watched/played that part so I might be remembering wrong), but wasn't that slap a good wake-up call for her? It enabled her to realize that no, it really wasn't funny.

And an emo drama queen, really? After all he went through, you'd think he'd be allowed to cry from time to time. And even then, he didn't give up, he kept fighting till the end.

Indeed, it was a good wake-up call for her. She kind of needed Ronove to explain it, though.

Quite frankly, I'd be a bit creeped out if he didn't get upset over his family being killed. And you're right, he didn't give up. Being a Determinator is a requirement of 07th Expansion's male protagonists.
