I'm new so here are my hated characters.

I've been coming here for a while and now I've decided to join this community. I've PRAYED for the day I'd come across something like this. I'll admit now I'm an anime fan girl, but I'm NOT like the immature ones you come across who bash characters for no reason. They give the good ones like us a bad name.I no matter what fandom I get in, I ALWAYS ( Read more... )

Serious word for Kuwabara. I don't think I've seen anyone bashed as much as he is. Kuwabara ALWAYS seems to be bashed by rabid Hiei-fangirls, it drives me insane. I don't know how many times I've read "Kuwabaka" in my lifetime.

I realllly need to read Inuyasha. I hear Kikyou's nicer in the manga, then someone will turn around and say she's bitchier in the manga, others will say she's exactly the same. Talk about mixed opinions.

I think she's friendlier in the anime myself. It actually confuses me when people say she's nicer in the manga. *is curious*

I find it amusing when fangirls bitch about Sakura and Ino being fangirls of Sasuke when...they themselves act the same way, if not worse.

Which is why I stay in my little corner and fanboy the girl in my icon. <3

Some flaws I need to point out:

"The friendships speeches are ONLY in the crappy 4Kids dub"

1. The dub isn't THAT bad, even Takahashi himself likes it because it gets his themes of friendship across to kids in the USA.

2. The speeches were NOT just in the "crappy" 4Kids dub, they were in the original as well. Trust me, the manga is full of them, not just from Anzu but from everyone.

"He is NOT ugly, not to ME. He was just drawn realisticly unlike the other characters"

I think Yusuke was also drawn realistically, not just Kuwabara. And I think that Kuwabara WAS supposed to be ugly (it's been said in the manga and anime) but the point of his character was that he was the most noble on the inside, with a stronger sense of honor than Yusuke, Kurama, or Hiei.

Other than that, great rant!

I'm not all that experienced with the show, but in my experience, Yugi and oh hell... the blond guy with the Time Wizard are twice as bad with the friendship speeches. At least.

And since when was valuing your friends a negative quality, anyway?

I freakin' love Junpei.

Now I don't like Daisuke for the same reason I don't like Ash Ketchum--because I hate characters that plot contrivances are centered around. I was starting to warm to him near the end and then he had to have that whole "but I don't have a dream" with MaloMyotismon, and then it turns that he *does* have a dream--to own a noodle cart! So why didn't MM's spell affect him?

Not to mention "My life is fine the way it is!" ....Excuse me Daisuke, but I thought you always wanted Kari as your girlfriend, wouldn't THAT be a thing you'd want to change in your life? By all means, MM's spell SHOULD have affected him and made him dream about being Kari's boyfriend.

Domino Icon = Still Awesome

I've always figured that it wasn't those kinds of dreams that the spell affected. It was the kind of dream where you obsess about something. Takeru wanting his family together, Iori wanting to show the Digital World to his dad, Ken wanting to be punished for his sins, Hikari wanting only peace, Miyako...well, we don't talk about that.

But Daisuke never obsessed about anything. Yes, he wanted to date Hikari. But he wanted to be her friend more than anything, and he had that. If they never dated, he wasn't going to go all "woe is me" about it.

The same with his ambition to have a noodle cart. That's a goal, but not something blinding him to everything else.

Miyako's just kinda came from nowhere. I mean, her only obsession really was boys (and Mimi...), so by that logic, shouldn't her dream have had something to do with getting a boyfriend?

COMPLETELY AGREEING on the Weiß Kreuz point. All the girl-bashing is annoying and unfounded, and really, I don't find yaoi in WK all that appealing (I'll go for maybe Schuldig with Farfarello or Nagi, but that's about it). I'm not too crazy about Sakura, but I thought Ouka was a GREAT character and I hate how much she's bashed. There's so much depth to her character that they ignore just because it doesn't fit their complaints. :/
