I'm new so here are my hated characters.
I've been coming here for a while and now I've decided to join this community. I've PRAYED for the day I'd come across something like this. I'll admit now I'm an anime fan girl, but I'm NOT like the immature ones you come across who bash characters for no reason. They give the good ones like us a bad name.I no matter what fandom I get in, I ALWAYS end up liking the character who gets hated. Here my list of characters(I'm only going to name a few because I'll be ALL day naming every single one):
Anzu Mazaki from Yugioh-I will NEVER understand why she gets so much hate. She's good friend and she is NOT useless just because she doesn't duel. She is NOT a slut(she wears mini skirts so she's already a whore. Please, it is NOT a crime to wear skirts and Anzu's aren't short compared to the girls I go to school with)and she's a TOMBOY so it is natural she would have more guy friends. She's NOT ugly. I admit she is not as pretty as Mai or Isis, but I think she is pretty good looking.The friendships speeches are ONLY in the crappy 4Kids dub and YUGI preaches more than she does and I don't see ANYONE bashing him. Oh I forgot he's "hot" so he exempt from EVERYTHING. The other girls get bashed( except for maybe Isis),but Anzu gets the most hate reguardless.
Kikyou from Inuyasha- Another scary fandom and lucky me just HAPPENS to like Kikyou. I'll admit I didn't like her at first because of how evil the ANIME portrayed her and I read fanfiction( BAD idea)BEFORE I saw and read the anime/manga which portrayed Kikyou as some evil bitch who wants to kill Kagome and drag Inuyasha to hell. After reading the MANGA I fell in love with Kikyou's character. I feel sorry for all she had to go through.If any of those fan brats watched the show more they would know Kikyou doesn't want to take Inuyasha to hell anymore and she was only trying to SCARE Kagome. If Kikyou wanted to kill her she would have. Kikyou DOES NOT hate Kagome! Kikyou is JEALOUS of Kagome because Kagome is the kind of woman Kikyou wanted to be but she couldn't and that Kagome has captured Inuyasha's heart. And, if you think about it, it is KIKYOU who pushes Inuyasha and Kagomes to begin realizing their feelings to eachother. So she is NOT an 'interference' or 'in the way' of their OTP and without KIKYOU there would be no Inuyasha story. Note to you fan brats: Kikyou is ALREADY dead so quit with the 'Kikyou must die!'. It's getting REALLY old.
Kuwabara from Yu Yu Hakusho- I have yet to see a PRO Kuwabara fic. I like Kuwabara. He's not my favorite, but I DON'T hate him. He IS not useless. He may the weakest of the four tentei,but he is PRETTY strong for a human. He may not be a genius like Kurama, but his heart and honor make up for that. I find him to be VERY sweet and I think Yukina is lucky to have him( I KNOW that they aren't official and it appears to be one sided, I still support Kuwa/Yuki). And the NUMBER 1 reason fan brats hate him is because he isn't "hot" like the other male characters of the show. He is NOT ugly, not to ME. He was just drawn realisticly unlike the other characters( like you would EVER see a man like Kurama in real life).
Jean Grey from X-Men- I'm mostly talking about the Evolution version. People seem to like the comic version. In Evolution, Jean is THE most hated character in this version. She is portrayed as a prep in this one and is accused of being 'perfect'. Jean is NOT my favorite charcter, but I think she needs some respect.I'll admit the reason I never warmed up to Jean is because I see her sometimes as a Mary-Sue,but she is a good friend and leader(when Scott isn't around). I have a friend in real life like Jean who is preppy, but nice. She's mainly hated by Rogue fans(not ALL of us because I'm a HUGE Rogue fan and I respect all versions of Jean)because Jean 'stole' Scott from Rogue. Jean did NOT steal Scott. Scott wanted Jean and Jean( to my HUGE annoyance)spent 2 seasons dating that bastard Ducan( I HATE him!) for social status. So she's not SO perfect. Besides, even the biggest Jean hater can't help but admit that Jean is INCREDIBLE as Phoenix.
All the girls in Weiss Kruez- I like yaoi, but only if it's HINTED or cannon and this fandom I don't see much yaoi except for a possible Schu/Far pairing. It is made quite clear that each of the WK boys are straight by giving them love interests who some ended up dying unfortunately. I'll admit I do read GOOD fics about Omi/Ken I know it'll never happen in cannon, but I don't bash every female in the show. I'm tired of seeing Sakura,Ouka,Yuriko,Asuka,and Schreient getting bashed. I RARELY find any GOOD fic about them and I think Schreient were a GREAT team( they gave Weiss trouble for episodes and were only killed because they were tricked). I fan brats to be very hypocrtical, they LOVE childish, possibly mental character like Ryouichi from Gravitation( another yaoi crazy fandom where fan brats bash every girl and make every male gay who are supposed to be)yet HATE Tot who I think is ADORABLE with the EXACT same personality.This is why rarely get deeply involved in shounen fandoms, TOO many immature yaoi fan girls.
Other characters I don't feel like explaining. I know I'm a little lazy.
Rei Hino from Sailor Moon- only in the anime. Not my favorite in this version. I LOVE her in the manga/PGSM though
Chibusa from Sailor Moon- don't like the way she treats Usagi, but she's cute and NOT a total brat
Ami Mizuno from Sailor Moon- only by American fans. She's LOVED in Japan.
Keiko from Yu Yu Hakusho- not my favorite but admire her for putting up with Yususke and I LOVE her famous 'bitch slap'
Sakuya from Tenchi in Tokyo- the only girl in the series who isn't INSANE about Tenchi(except for Sasami and Kiyone), mysterious, and is only hated because Tenchi chose her over Ryoko and Aeyeka.
All the girls in Gravitation- same reason as in my WK rant above.
Junpei from Digimon- not my favorite and I find his crush on Izumi to be cute. He's hated for that and because he doesn't look like a stick like every other character.
Daisuke from Digimon- alsom not my favorite and is hated because to his crush on Hikari and the his portrayal in the dub.
Honda from Yugioh- not hated much. Just ignored.
All the girls in Beyblade- same as WK and Gravi.
Relena from Gundam Wing- I like her and she's only bashed because of her feelings for Heero.
Flay from Gundam Seed- not my favorite and used to not like her until half way through because of her attitude and what she did to Kira, but she redeemed herself and died for him.
Rain Mikimura from G Gundam- not hated alot, but is sometimes bashed for being useless. She's NOT. She's the machanic for God Gundam and without her Domon wouldn't be able to pilot it. Also she CAN fight when she has to. Did you see her piloting Rising Gundam during the Rain/Allenby fight? She was piloting like she had been fighting all her life.
Allenby Beardsley from G Gundam- the only OFFICIAL female fighter(so Rain doesn't count) and I LOVE her Noble Gundam. It looks just like Sailor Moon. She kicks ass even outside her Gundam. She's only hated because of crush on Domon and fan brats see her as a 'threat' to Domon/Rain.
Scheris Adjani from Scryed- hated because of her crush on Ryoho that 'interferes' with Mimori. It's only one sided(in the ANIME). She ends up with Ryoho in the manga so that's even more hate to her. I like her, but she is a LITTLE too clingy to Ryoho.
Sakura from Naruto- yes, she came off as a fan girl in the beginning, but she really DOES care for her friends and she REALLY does love Sasuke. Her character changed dramatically half way through and when she cut her hair was a turning point for her in the whole series. I almost cried seeing that episode.
Terra from Teen Titans- yes, she betrayed the titans, but she was confused about who to trust and she redeemed herself in the end by sacrificing herself. She's also hated because she 'interferes' with BB/Rae which is not an official couple or even hinted.
Mia Koji from Ronin Warriors- only hated because she doesn't fight and she ends up with Sage. She not hated as much as those above, but Sue authors love to bash her because she is friends with boys instead of girls and are jealous because she gets to live with all those "hot" boys.
Ginny Weasley from Harry Potter- accused of being a Mary Sue and read books 5 and 6. You'll see why she gets bashed which I don't think she did anything wrong.
Cho Chang from Harry Potter- not my favorite, but if you read book 5 you'll see why she gets so much hate.The HP fandom is the SCARIEST fandom I've EVER been in and bascally there is no other GIRL important other than Hermione. You won't BELIEVE some of the pairing fans think of.
See a pattern? As you can see almost all of the characters listed are female and are basically ONLY hated because they 'get in the way' of their OTP or are jealous possible Sue authors because they feel that character is 'stealing HER man'or yaoi crazy fan girls who think that every boy is gay and that all females are EVIL. I admit I find ALOT of anime boys to be VERY attractive, but I don't OBSESS over them because they ARE not real and I find pursuing after a boy you know you have no chance with or will EVER meet(in THIS case NEVER) to EXTREMELY pointless. These girls give us REAL fan girls a BAD name. Also these same girls claim to be 'true' fans, but they're not. A 'true' like me, would like a fandom for it's actual PLOT not just the 'hot' bishounen(which I see as just a BONUS) and even though there is always at least ONE character I dislike, I tolerate them enough NOT to bash he/she because that character is USUALLY important to the plot.For ex., Naraku from Inuyasha. He's attractive, but I HATE the bastard's guts for what he did to the Inuyasha-tachi. However, he IS responsible for the Inuyasha story and is the antagonist and central goal for the duration of the storyline. Without him no Inuyasha, so I TOLERATE him for the sake of the story. THAT is a TRUE fan.
