Sometimes I wonder who from FF8 ISN'T hated. Sure, the characters have a bunch of supporters, but of a bunch of anti-fans too. As someone said once, sometimes they bash all the characters ( Read more... )

Rinoa would be the first to be supported. Even some FF8 fans bash her, the poor dear. And I love her for no obvious reason.

And FF8 is cool... I wonder why some people deslike it so much?

Eh, every game in the series outside of IV, VI, and VII gets shit.

And heaven help you if you're actually critical of one of those three games. I speak from experience.

FFIX, FFX and FFT? NO! Please tell me isn't so! All games have it's failures... Even FF7. I love that game, but it has it's flaws.

I never finished this game either. The CD decided stoping to work on Lunatic Fandora. I cursed more then Cid Higwind when this happened...

I have a block. When I know the game is almost done, I stop playing so it doesn't have to end.

FF8 is love. I also think is overrated, if you want me to be honest... I love EVERYONE. But Norg. And Adel. But they were supposed to be hated.

FFVIII characters are cool. I never finished the game either because the battle system sucks, but I loved the cast. I'd like it if you (the OP) did the defense of the cast.

Laguna seems less hated than the others. I liked the FFVI cast, but they didn't seem to interact with each other all that much which bothered me. And in the end, their pasts weren't as fleshed out as some fanboys like to make it out to be. I'm still in love with Terra, Celes, Relm, and Shadow though.
