Reminds of the people that seem to think Aeris wasn't murdered by Sephiroth, but actually impaled herself while pole dancing on his sword X_x;

Umm....I used to suffer from Tifa-hate. Then I wrote a fanfic and realized I had Tifa's role in the game all wrong, so I went from "I like Aeris so I have to hate Tifa" to "They were both friends, and powerful in their own respect, so why am I pitting them against each other?" It was enlighting! ;P And yes, it does sound like a blantant case of Aeris-fanboyism.

I absolutely detest this "Tifa is a slut"-myth. Yes, I think she was designed with fanboys in mind, but seriously, sex appeal doesn't equal sluttiness. Nothing about her character suggests that she would sell herself for money.

Also, why does common sense count with Aeris but not with Tifa?

Okay, all right, I dig Aeris. I mean...I honestly haven't yet met a character in any game, show, or movie that I've really, really hated (or, if I have, I also hated the game/show/movie on the whole. See, there's a correlation). The point is, I don't want anyone thinking that I'm disparaging everyone's favorite mysterious flower girl. But, um...

Aeris isn't a slut JUST because she offers a date to pay for Cloud's bodyguard duty.Isn't that basically what a prostitute does? Not all people who pick up prostitutes or call girls have sex with them; some get them for arm candy or to have a girlfriend for the night. These people are kind of weird, but whatever moves your furniture. Anyway, so yes, she's not a slut, and I have nothing particularly against prostitutes, especially since most of them didn't exactly get into that situation by choice. But for the love of god, we need to call things as they are, here. If you accept some kind of payment for being a gentleman's companion, then yes, you're at least a borderline hooker

I like them both, but I honestly preferred Tifa. Tifa didn't have the indecency to die a fourth of the way through the game and negate all the leveling-up I did for her.

Besides, big boobs are nice. And it's not Tifa's fault she was designed by a horny Japanese man.
