I'm not in this fandom, but I've complained before about these dumb author's notes. People disagreed, and with reason, and fine, but this is an example of why. If you don't like the character, don't put her in your fic. Don't like the relationship, write an alternate one. Don't give me a mini-rant.

I never had anything against Yuriko and seeing episode 5 to me could possibly serve as a basis for a fanfic on this pairing (and Ken did care for her no doubt), however not many seem to write about them since 90% of the Weiss Kreuz fandom is understandably Yaoi. I would be happy to read a believable Yuriko/Ken fic if one exists. And as rosehiptea agreeably said, authors shouldn't give a mini-rant on a hated character in their story. I think it only puts people off reading. It's happened to me a lot.

I wrote a crappyKen/Yuriko fic once, and I started on a Ran/Ken/Yuriko love triangle, because the idea amused the hell out of me. And the chokehold that the yaoi fangirls have on that fandom is almost as ridiculous as Gundam Wing. x_X It makes me want to write only het and yuri for a few more months...

My yaoi OTP in Weiss is Ken/Omi, but does that make me automatically a Yuriko hater? Nope. I don't really care for her a lot, but I don't hate her too. She did exist, and if I ever write a Ken-related romance fic, I'll make my best effort to write her unbiasedly - and the same goes for Ouka if the fic is Ken/Omi.

And word, stereotypic sucks. Attracting the attention of a slashable male doesn't make you a whore or a bitch. No, no, no.

I truly despise the stereotypes, though. Which is why I started that Ken/Tot fic, just to rip people's minds out of that mold. Too bad I never finished it...
