So I went to ski camp. I was bummed about leaving my home friends early, but psyched about spending some QT with the bowdoin ski team, cuz they're cool folks. It was a lot of fun. So practice started yesterday...yay for 630 AM fitness testing. I only got fifteen on the strength test. I was sure I could do 20. Oh well...next time. In the afternoon, we did a hardass circuit. I returned to my room after dinner to find that the approximatly 150 baloons that had been blown up for Emily's (girl down the hall for those not at bowdoin) birthday had been stored in my room...why I can't imagine. So I'm sore all over and it hurts to breathe, but I'm feeling pretty accomplished. Prob cuz I did a triathlon earlier today. Granted I got girled by the two bowdoin girl skiers who came, granted I ran the slowest 5k of my life, but still, it felt good. Hard as shit tho...500 yds is so long to swim. So classes and things have started...which is sorta good and sorta bad. Good--it gives structure to my day. Bad--work sucks. I'm taking chem, integral calc, asian art history, and the civil rights movement.
