OMG! I absolutely adored all these stories. I read them at work (while I was supposed to be working lol) and luckily no one was in the office with me because you had me laughing out loud and gasping and near tears and SQUEEing and just altogether a mess of emotions. You had so many incredibly funny lines but i think one of my favorites was...lets see...in Norringtons Choice, I believe, when Charles and Owens are kidnapped and Harry accidentally shoots Jack and he says to Norrington Aye, wives, they'll kill you with kindness if they miss with their dueling pistol. I was laughing for about ten minutes when I read that ( ... )

LOL! That's a lot of reading for just a few days. I'm so happy you enjoyed the stories. Go ahead and read Widow's Walk -- it's set between Norrington's Choice and Chalice of St. Francis, so it's safe to say things turn out OK. Did you catch Jack and Juana's story, Querida? The links are a bit off, I think, so you may have missed it, as others have done in the past.

Your comments have really made my day! Thank you for letting me know you enjoyed the Harry & the Pirate stories -- they were a lot of fun to write, and I am thrilled that you found them fun to read, too!

Oh, I'm definitely going to have to read Querida. I did wonder what in the world their conversation encompassed on that journey home lol. You're stories are so historically accurate, both in language and customs. I had to laugh when I read Jack saying "God's teeth". I don't know if you've ever read Catherine Called Birdy but it was one of my favorite books growing up and in it, her brother, Edward is in a monastery and he tells the family that all the religious folk in the monasteries have things they say instead of cursing, for example, God's hair, or God's feet. And Catherine decides she's going to have this too, and goes through days of trying to decide which body part of God's to use, till she finally settles on God's teeth. I thought it was great to hear Jack say it. lol.

I don't know if I have -- it sounds like a book I would have liked as a kid, and the title seems familiar. I'll have to check it out on Amazon! But I've come across the expression "God's teeth" in other historical fiction and (as is my habit) borrowed it without permission. ;-)
