Notes: Written for my 40 Days of Drabbles and for sv100 prompt rain. You know what I realized? This is my third-straight year of writing Chloe/AC fics. I sadly missed the anniversary though of Aquagirl (March 16) - which I just realized I totally need to edit!
She wasn’t usually one for stormy nights but it was just so… oddly beautiful that she didn’t mind it one bit. For the first time in months, she felt relaxed… as if her life was nothing compared to the storm around her. The thunder was so loud that she had almost missed hearing him walk out of the apartment.
“Thinking about taking a swim?” He joked, as he gestured towards the rain. Chloe faced him and chuckled.
“Only if you join me, AC… ‘cause I’d drown in this weather.”
AC grinned, “Probably.”
Leaning into him, she continued watching the storm.
